Professional Land Surveying & Elevation Certificates "On Time, All The Time"

About SSG

Together Tammie and Robert Osborne each brought over 25 years of professional surveying and business management to the firm. They started SSG just after hurricane Katrina, in July 2006. While they were in the midst of reconstructing their own home, they put together a firm that offers a wide variety of services, not limited to just land surveying.

After Roberts passing in 2017, Tammie and her dedicated team continue to build SSG and Robert's legacy.

Southern Surveyors Group, LLC was established as a WBE (Woman Owned Enterprise) Small Business in January of 2008, licensed in Mississippi, then going on to become self-certified as WOSB (Woman Owned Small Business).

SSG also formed a "GROUP” of professional surveying firms which work under the supervision of SSG's professional management staff.

We have the ability to add sub-contractor resources to our own survey teams in order to increase manpower. This ability to adapt to the project time schedule gives us and our clients the choice of increasing production without having to hire other firms in order to meet an increased completion schedule, in some cases this could be the difference between project success and failure.

No project is too large just more of a challenge, and we welcome a good challenge!

Tammie and Robert Osborne

Even though SSG specializes in Power Generation and Transmission Line Surveying, we also have over 25 years of experience in all phases of land surveying, such as, Easement Acquisition, Flood Elevation, ALTA/ACSM surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, as well as large and small boundary surveys. We are licensed surveyors and we provided services throughout Mississippi and Alabama.

We are committed to assuring that everyone we help understands their needs. If we cannot provide the necessary assistance, we will refer them to the proper source so that their needs are met.

Tammie E. Osborne, CEO

“I believe that a life without the Lord at the captain’s wheel is a dead one. Therefore, I do my best to not make decisions without praying over the situation first. I feel that if I have His blessing then there is no bad outcome.” John C Maxwell once wrote that our attitude today will shape our tomorrows, so choose wisely and our life will be much easier to handle. In other words; make today a good attitude for it will build your tomorrow for you. (Maxwell, JC, 1989, Make Today Count, XI)
